Phaedra Parks is fresh off her trip to Havana, Cuba, and back in the United States just in time to ring in her birthday.
The former star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” posed in a black Halloween-ready ruffled gown, her hair styled in an up-do to keep the focus on the attention-grabbing dress. Parks’ smile accented the entire look.

Even Parks’ new boyfriend, former “The Haves and the Have Nots” guest actor Medina Islam, shouted out his woman on his own Instagram page.

The “RHOA” star has been basking in love with her new man, whom she met from the dating app Raya over the summer. Parks previously told the Daily Mail the couple ran in the same circles for years. Islam was once engaged to Claudia Jordan, who appeared on “RHOA” during the show’s seventh season.
“I’m quite excited and happy about him,” she told the U.K. tabloid after she and her beau were spotted publicly cuddling and holding hands on a lunch date in Santa Monica, California, in July. “He’s very smart, very intelligent. He’s kind, we are both socially active. He’s really sober and smart. He’s a great father. So I’m excited about it.”
Parks has not openly spoken about her man since, but she has made things Instagram official. In September, she posted a photo to her Instagram page of her decade-younger guy holding her, both of them beaming from ear to ear.
The reality star’s romance with Islam marks her second serious relationship since divorcing Apollo Nida. She was previously with Chicago radio and TV personality Tone Kapone.
