‘Yes Ma’am’: 5 Things You Didn’t Know About Quad Webb

A year off her divorce, reality star Quad Webb is adapting to the single life quite beautifully. The recent divorcée is staying booked and busy these days as a fan favorite on Bravo series “Married to Medicine” as well as a co-host on daytime talk show “Sister Circle.”

She’s no stranger to living her life in the public eye, but everything hasn’t been an open book.

Here are five things you may not have known about the reality star.

She’s Acted Once Upon a Time 
Webb, 39, landed a role in the 2015 movie “My First Love” as the character Felicia. According to IMDb, the comedy/drama is about a married couple whose relationship is on the rocks due to electronic devices.

She’s a Tennessee State University Alum
The entrepreneur is a graduate of the historically Black university, which is located in Nashville. There she earned a bachelor of science in biology with a minor in chemistry.

“I [have] a strong sense of self, confidence,” she said of attending an HBCU. “Being a natural leader.”

She Suffered from Fibroids
Webb, 39, took a break from “Sister Circle” earlier this year after she was diagnosed with uterine fibroids, a painful condition she had been dealing with for nearly a year. The reality star admitted she was so busy with life and work that she ignored many of the symptoms, such as abdominal pain, longer periods and frequent urination.

She later underwent surgery to have the growths removed  — 10 in total.

“I feel great,” Webb said after the procedure. “When you are neglecting to listen to your body you are neglecting yourself, and I don’t want people to do that. … Don’t neglect your body, we only get one.”

She’s Written Her Own Cookbook 
In May, the entrepreneur dropped her cookbook “Cooking with Miss Quad: Live, Laugh, Love and Eat. It features a variety of recipes, from savory salads and seafood to barbecue and tasty finger foods.

“When I was a young doll, the kitchen is where we congregated as a family,” she wrote in the book’s intro. “My mom and I shared special bonding time there, talking and laughing … and before I knew it, a whole meal was prepared.”

She’s Recently Divorced
Webb filed for divorce from her husband, psychiatrist Dr. Greg Lunceford, in April 2018 after she claimed he was unfaithful. In October 2019, news surfaced that the divorce was actually finalized making Webb an officially single woman. The couple’s marriage hit the rocks in early 2017, and much of that turmoil played out on screen. The pair were married for six years.
