A new photo Ciara uploaded to Instagram Oct. 12 has fans buzzing over her resemblance to bestie La La Anthony.
The singer and the actress reunited in New York City on Saturday, where OK! Magazine reported the “Power” actress was seen sharing tacos and rounds of margaritas with some girlfriends who dined with her at Bodega Negra, a Mexican restaurant with clubby vibes.
It’s not clear whether Ciara, 33, was among the girlfriends who joined Anthony, 38, at the eatery, but they were certainly side-by-side at one point during the weekend, and they struck a fierce pose together.
“BFFS Link Up 😎. #NYC” Ciara captioned her pic with her best pal. Anthony uploaded the same image to her own Instagram page with the caption, “Better Together 💙❤️ #bff.”
Fans of the stars couldn’t help but remark about their familial-like resemblance.

The fashionable pic was snapped as the two attended the first live panel discussion for IPSY, the Daily Mail reported. Recently, Ciara partnered with the monthly subscription cosmetics service for its Discover Yourself campaign. The singer serves as the company’s beauty ambassador, and in a video the “Beauty Marks” singer shared her journey to learn who she is.
Anthony has been there throughout Ciara’s journey and has seemed to embrace the sisterly side of her relationship with the singer.
In 2016, after former “The View” co-panelist Raven Symoné bashed how stars like Ciara flaunted their relationships on social media only to “break up later,” Anthony caught the remarks and hit back just as any big sister would.
“Well, Raven, Ciara is one of my best friends and she’s never made her relationship on social media, that’s not her thing at all,” Anthony replied on the show. “I think that the public’s fascination makes it about social media. I think the public can create the relationship on social media and a lot of the time the celebrity doesn’t. There’s a fascination with the celebrity and the couple that drives it to be a social media type relationship.”
When Ciara wed Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in July 2016, Anthony was one of the singer’s celebrity pals who served as a bridesmaid. Anthony also attended CiCi’s co-ed baby shower before Ciara welcomed daughter Sienna Princess.
