‘SMH’: Joe Budden Seemingly Responds to Cyn Santana’s Remarks About Their Breakup

“Love & Hip-Hop: New York’s” Cyn Santana recently sat down with Tiffany Pollard on her new VH1 show “Brunch With Tiffany,” where she spoke about her breakup with her former fiancé Joe Budden. Budden has since responded to that interview, and so have his supporters.

Back in May, on “The Joe Budden Podcast,” Budden said that he and Santana were no longer speaking, and that she moved all of her belongings from their home.

But neither had come out and confirmed the split, not until Santana’s interview with Pollard this week.

“I did what was best for my mental health, for my peace, and for me and my son,” Santana explained.

“Let’s just say that I’m probably the happiest that I’ve ever been and that was probably the best decision I’ve made in my entire life in the 26 years I’ve been living on this earth,” she added. “The best decision I made was leaving that relationship. And my son and I are amazing.”

Afterward, some agreed with Santana’s decision to leave the retired rapper, while others said she was wrong for talking about it with Pollard.

“So Joe Budden, who has a very popular podcast, goes this long without speaking publicly on his break up out of respect for his child’s mother, but Cyn goes and does an interview and bashed their relationship,” someone wrote.

Budden then responded to that tweet and wrote “SMH,” which seems to be his way of disapproving of his ex’s interview.

It’s possible the reason behind the former couple’s split will be revealed on the upcoming season of “Love & Hip Hop: New York,” which will reportedly have some of the original cast members returning, like Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones.
