Sherri Shepherd is becoming the poster child for wanting to rip your hair out after dealing with a former spouse — specifically, one you share a child with.
Shepherd shared a video on Instagram Monday putting on display just how she felt after sorting through some undisclosed details with one of her ex-husbands.
“My mood after dealing w my son’s father #singlemomdrama #babydaddyissues #jesustakethewheel,” read the caption of the Oct. 7 footage.
In the 25-second clip, Shepherd convulses her torso around as she stomps and moans and groans in front of her trailer on set, waving her arms around in the process.
Fans who caught the clip shared their reactions, which ranged from humorous to advice-giving.
“Oh dear thought it was an audition for The Walking Dead ahahaha😅🤣😂Sherri hope you’ll be ok💙”
“She needs some milk 🥛”
“What in the Walking Dead is going on here?! 😂🤣😂🤣🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♀️”
“Omg 😱 I hope you are OK just Breath it’s not worth it. You getting hurt just remember you have a son.🙏🌺🦋”
“Ask the Lord to take the madness out of the man help me Jesus he’ll answer🙏💯😂💯💯🤔😘😈🌹🌹”
“I know that feeling dealing with my son’s mother sometimes. I just compartmentalize it. O allow now one to see it. On the outside, I smile. On the inside, I’m like you as displayed here. But I’m patient. Be patient. Everyone has their day.”
It’s not clear which of Shepherd’s two ex-husbands she was addressing, but she has a son with each of them. The former “Trial & Error” star shares 14-year-old son Jeffrey Tarpley with actor Jeff Tarpley, her first husband whom she married in 2001 before their split nine years later. Shepherd then wed Lamar Sally Jr. in 2011 and before they ended their marriage in 2017, they welcomed a son, 5-year-old nicknamed LJ, via surrogate.
Shepherd is required to pay Sally $4,100 in child support to Sally and $131 in child support to Tarpley, with whom the actress shares custody of Jeffrey. The actress has disavowed maternity of LJ and accused Sally of defrauding her into a surrogate pregnancy just so he can get child support, TMZ reported.
And Tuesday’s video is not the first time that Shepherd has put her ex-husbands and their parenting struggles on blast.
In a lengthy Instagram post the star made in September, she complained about “raising my very moody teenage son by myself… (if you see his dad tell him his son’s mother needs a little help)… child support payments to two baby daddies… gotta stay employed bc if I don’t the entire house of cards will collapse… family far away… needed by many and only able to help a few… always hustling… I never stop grinding…”
