A simple picture of Ciara and Russell Wilson together has hundreds of the singer’s fans gushing.
On Saturday, Oct. 5, the husband and wife caught Game 2 in the MLB’s American League East playoffs as the New York Yankees took on the Minnesota Twins. Decked out in Yankees gear in Yankee Stadium this weekend, Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Wilson saw their team win 8-2 over the Twins.
“Yankee Days with my Baby @DangeRussWilson❤️” the “Set” singer captioned the post.
Soon, many fans began fawning over the apparent love between the spouses.

Things took a turn, however, when fans began remarking on Russell’s hairdo: cornrows.

Back in April, Wilson shared footage of his singer wife braiding down his usually curly, long hair against his scalp.
“When you’re on Easter weekend and your wife’s braiding your hair,” Wilson says in the video as Ciara gripped her husband’s stretched out curls to style them into cornrows.
The reaction to the initial braiding was decidedly negative, with several people bashing Ciara’s efforts. Still, others applauded the apparent love between the spouses.
