Inspired by her recent trek to Greece with her “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-stars, Nene Leakes posed up a storm on Instagram over the weekend, and fans were in love.
Leakes, who is the sole current “RHOA” star who has been on the long-running Bravo series since day one, uploaded a pic posing in gold and silver. A shimmery silver-colored halter dress with gold-colored shoes, bracelet and a headpiece had the star looking rather regal.
“Greek Goddess Nene #RHOA,” Leakes captioned the Sept. 29 post.
Fans instantly gushed over the busty and smiley image.

While Leakes is basking over her trip to the Balkans now, her new pal Wendy Williams disclosed on the Friday edition of her talk show that Leakes nearly did not take the 12-plus-hour trip to Greece at all.
Williams told her live studio audience that she got a phone call from Leakes expressing doubts about heading overseas with her cast mates.
“Nene at first wasn’t going to go. And she actually called me a few weeks ago and said, ‘Look, I have to talk to you about something.’” Williams explained on “The Wendy Williams Show” Sept. 27. “She said, ‘I don’t wanna go. I don’t like the way they portray me.’ I said, ‘You do a lot of that on your own, Nees. If you don’t give them that then they won’t be able to put it out there.'”
Williams then said she got another call from Leakes as the star prepared to head back home to Atlanta from Greece.
“She goes, ‘Wendy, thank you for convincing me to go on the trip.’ I was like, ‘Look, this is your cash cow. You need to take that bag, go on that trip, participate when they ask you to participate an that’s that.’”
But despite Williams taking credit for encouraging the “RHOA” star to go on the excursion with her cast mates, a source told HollywoodLife Leakes “was never not going.”
“[S]he’s very much in tune that [the cast trip is] an important part of not just the show, but in the steps she’s making towards the progress in her friendships with the other women,” the source added.
