WE-TV network expanded its “GUHH” franchise by taking it to the Big Apple in April, and Simmons is now a part of the show’s new cast.

The series, which is running its first season, is giving fans a peek inside the worlds of some of hip-hop’s most influential artists and their children.

Simmons has used her TV platform over the years of urging her followers to embrace who they are despite what others may think.

“Confidence is key to life,” she wrote on Instagram on Feb. 20. “With confidence you win. When you have this ingredient … you do what you want. You can comfortably be in your own skin. There is nothing anyone can do or say to shake that.”

She also launched a social campaign dubbed Pressure Makes Diamonds in September 2018 to help women overcome their hardships.

“I know that everyone has a story and we either come out as diamonds or we can came out as coal,” she said at the 2019 Essence Festival in July.

“It’s really your story that makes you, it’s not what you do, it’s who you are today,” she added.
