It looks like “Love and Hip Hop” star Erica Mena fell under attack late last week for an apparent change in her appearance.
The television personality attended Rihanna‘s fifth annual Diamond Ball on Thursday and showed off her ballroom attire. She rocked a black sequined gown and a super dramatic makeup look that consisted of a smoky eye and nude pink lip.
With a small video clip, Mena captioned her post via Instagram on Friday, “Night for #DiamondBall @claralionelfdn – Glam,” which racked up over 315,000 likes from her four million followers.
Some fans, however, claimed that Mena’s facial appearance was off. They said her lips were more plumped than usual.

Lately, Mena’s been the center of controversy. She was recently confronted by Nicki Minaj fans at the Diamond Ball for shading the rap diva in April, who happens to be her fiancĆ© Safaree Samuels‘ ex-girlfriend.
“Youāre a Barb,” a Barb supporter said to Mena. “No, Iām not part of that,” Mena replied. She added, “Iām a Barb, yes. A real Barbie.”
Minaj herself has yet to address her Barbs on Menaās behalf and doesnāt look like sheās going to anytime soon.
Social media had a lot to say about Mena’s most recent encounter with the Barbs. Some claimed they thought she was “about to get jumped.”
“No lie I thought she almost got jumped! šš¤¦š¾āāļø” one fan wrote on Sept. 12. “Barbs make people not like Nicki š yāall BULLIES!!”
Another commented, “Damn the Barbs are crazy! š They said ācatch me outside how bout datā Erica was shooketh”
