It looks like things are going fairly well in Joe Budden‘s world after he was spotted spending quality time with his two children.
Nearly three weeks ago, the 39-year-old rapper virtually had a breakdown on social media after expressing how much he apparently missed his 1-year-old son. However, fast-forward to last week, and it seems Budden got a chance to hang out with his little buddy after all.
The podcaster took to Instagram on Thursday and posted a picture of himself, his toddler Lexington Budden and his eldest son Trey Budden, 18. Baby Lexington grinned from ear-to-ear while sitting on his father’s lap and Trey stood to the left of Joe, who was planted in the middle. They all posed for a family photo taken by the rapper’s cousin.
“One is headed to college and one can’t understand why i keep trying to tell him what to do lol,” Joe captioned the image. “blessings on blessings 🙏🏽.”
His post drummed up over 129,000 likes and comments from fans who were happy to see the “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star reunited with his children.
“Him smiling 😍 he loves his dad! happy to see y’all back together”
“My nigga got to see his son 💪🏽💪🏽 happy for u man”
“It’s great to see you with your kids, Joe. I know how much you love and miss them. Bless”
“Salute to you and Cyn for coming to an agreement with Lex 🙏🏾🙌🏿 This is a proud moment for you 😍”
Budden’s photo op with his sons comes a few weeks after Budden sparked rumors that his ex-fiancée Cyn Santana was keeping baby Lexington from him. The pair welcomed their son back in 2017.
“I miss my son so much…. gotta go thru it tho… again,” the “Pump It Up” rapper tweeted on August 13.
Santana faced backlash for Budden’s insinuations and quickly addressed it in a statement on August 14, writing, “Lol y’all think I give a damn about what complete strangers with ZERO information have to say about me as it pertains to my son? Y’all don’t know a SINGLE thing about anything. I’ve kept it like that on purpose sis. Y’all stay blessed and protected tho.”
She followed up with a tweet, that urged her fans to “pay close attention to people’s patterns and tactics,” as “it’ll save you headaches, heartaches and energy.”
In early May, it was reported that Santana, 26, and Budden, 38, called off their engagement after rumors of infidelity surrounded the rapper. They’ve never directly addressed their split.
