Social is media is dragging “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Safaree Samuels for apparently lying about his flawless appearance.
The “Hunnid” rapper who’s arguably a conceited person, took to his Instagram page on Wednesday evening and boasted about his suave looks. He posted an up-close-and-personal photo of himself from the chest up, showing off his “perfect” skin and hair.
“What kinda moisturizer you put on my face this day @KoreanKandy 🤦🏾♂️ NOO FILTER,” Samuels said, calling attention to his almost artificially smooth skin and dark coiffure and facial hair. “From phone to here! and this is my realllll hair & REal skin 👑 #vmas #safaree.”
The rap artist boasting about himself took a abrupt turn when folks pointed out his seemingly “tinted” hairline and airbrushed face.

One fan even accused Samuels of wearing “foundation” on his face, to which he clapped back, “You need foundation. … you go some damn nerve 😩🤦🏻♂️!”
Last August, the 38-year-old reality TV star got into a huge social media spat with his ex-girlfriend of 13 years, Nicki Minaj, and she claimed that she paid $10,000 to fix Samuels’ hairline. The reality actor didn’t denies his ex’s claims and confirmed it was a whopping total of $12,000.
“And let’s keep the mention of mothers and siblings to a minimal of zero please,” he tweeted Aug. 14, during his and Minaj’s feud. ” Sincerely yours 12k Hairline.”
Despite how anyone feels about the star’s appearance, it’s clear his soon-to-be wife Erica Mena loves it.
The couple are slated to walk down the aisle soon, although details about their wedding date have yet to be revealed. Mena and Samuels publicly announced they were dating in November 2018 after they were spotted together at a Jazz-Nets game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. He proposed to her a month later.
