‘Show Some Respect!’: Ceaser Gets Blasted By ‘Black Ink Crew’ Fans After Initially Refusing to Attend Kitty’s Mom’s Funeral

It looks like “Black Ink Crew” star Ceaser Emanuel is in hot water this week.

The “Black Ink” owner is receiving a mass of backlash from viewers for apparently failing to support his employee Miss Kitty after her mother died. Kit’s mother was apparently battling lung cancer and later succumbed to the illness. No other details about her death are known.

Wednesday night’s episode kicked off with “Black Ink” employees Tati and Donna Lombardi breaking the saddening news of Kitty’s loss to Emanuel and their other co-stars. Everyone’s in a state of shock, and the shop owner reflected on the last time he’d seen the brand ambassador’s mother and recalled her being in good health.

“I can’t believe this s–t,” he said in his confessional. “The last time I seen Kit’s mom she was so full of life. Cancer’s a b–ch. My heart is broken for Kit.”

Later on within the episode, the crew discussed their arrangements to go to Kitty’s mom’s funeral, and that’s when Emanuel broke the news he wouldn’t be able to go. He claimed he was booked “six months solid” at the tattoo shop and had to watch his teenage daughter Cheyenne because her mother, his ex Crystal, decided to get jaw surgery. He also mentioned that he’s not big on funerals.

Of course Tati and Lombardi let Emanuel have it, saying he should go to support his brand ambassador, especially considering their history together. Kit and Emanuel dated off and on just after he called it quits with his ex-girlfriend Dutchess Lattimore. Things apparently didn’t work out between them and they decided to keep their relationship platonic.

Emanuel eventually decided to change his mind and hop on a flight to Washington, D.C., where Kitty’s mom’s funeral was being held. Emanuel and Kit had a heart-to-heart moment after she tearfully told him that she was going to miss her mother.

Although the “Black Ink” owner showed up for Kitty, viewers felt he should’ve initially been more supportive of her.

“Kit was there for him when he was going thru the rough patches and ALWAYS had his back and he couldn’t have hers? He’s no damn friend he shouldn’t even thought about it and just went 🤷🏽‍♀️”

“Yo show some respect Ceaser!! You met her mom you should have said yes in the beginning not wait until Donna and Tati said something. Kitty supported you smh”

“Sounds like all the ‘DICKHEAD’ (as Cease put it) ain all the way gone. I still love him. I love him enough to tell him he wrong about s–t. I NEVER thought he would business before something like this! Especially cause its his FRIEND. SHAME ON YOU SIR!😥”
