Mike Tyson revealed how much marijuana he consumes in a given month, which might even be more than legendary pot smokers like Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.
The boxing legend talked about his cannabis intake Monday on an episode of his podcast “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,” where he had the rapper Jim Jones on as a guest.
These days the retired fighter has a California-based company and farm called Tyson Ranch that offers indoor-grown “flower” strains, as well as marijuana extracts, and he’ll soon offer edibles. But Tyson clearly indulges in some of his products, too.
“What do we smoke a month?” he asked his partner and co-host, former NFL player Eben Britton. “Is it $40,000 a month?”
“We smoke 10 tons of weed at the ranch a month,” Britton answered.
“Is that crazy?” Tyson then asked.
Jones seemed to be in total shock about the amount of weed the two men consume. “That’s a lot of weed,” said the Dipset member. “That’s nonstop, every second weed right there.”
Tyson began growing marijuana on his 40-acre ranch shortly after recreational use in California became legal in 2018. And according to the company’s website, the 53-year-old is very hands-on with everything that goes out.
“Mr. Tyson has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to the cannabis he puts his name on,” reads a page on the site. “Each product is meticulously inspected and tested for impurities at every stage of growing, curing and packing process.”
Next, Tyson will be opening a resort at the ranch, which is located in the Palm Springs, California, area, and it will have an amphitheater, as well as campgrounds for “glamping.”
And according to GQ, it will also have a school called Tyson University, where people who want to open their own marijuana farms can learn how to cultivate.
