“Growing Up Hip Hop” star Angela Simmons and her antics apparently can’t catch a break.
Social media dragged the 31-year-old mother over the weekend for going overboard with her provocativeness while seemingly at a local gas station. Simmons took to Instagram Sunday evening and posted an apparent glam shot of herself dressed in a denim crop top, short shorts and blue high heel pumps.
In the photo, the television personality seemingly posed as if she were pumping gas while holding a cup in her other hand and apparently biting the straw. She captioned her post, “š¶ Got 99 problems but …. you aināt one š¶ #BossGaLSummer š.”
Although the “GUHH” star received over 169,000 likes on her post, a mass of fans weren’t too fond of it.
“Look like you kinda trying too hard just relax a lil playa āļø. She be doing wayyy too much sometimes.”

Simmons, the daughter DJ Rev Run of pioneering hip-hop group RunāD.M.C., is no stranger to criticism.
The “GUHH” star identifies herself as a Christian and has often been judged for her apparent revealing clothing choices in the past.
“People will come up to me and say ‘Oh you shouldn’t be wearing that skirt.’ And I just say ‘why not,'” she previously told Rolling Out during an interview in 2013. “I’m not doing it distastefully, and I’m not being disrespectful. I have my relationship with God, so therefore I don’t feel like anyone should judge me. But it’s life, and people are going to judge.”
She also was judged for having now 2-year-old son Sutton Joseph Tennyson out of wedlock with ex-fiancƩ Sutton Tennyson who was tragically shot and killed last November.
“I thought I met my husband. Iām going to marry him, we have kids. And it just didnāt happen like that. God had another plan for me,” she said during a season 3 episode of “GUHH.”
“Everyone has to look at me and be like, ‘Youāre not married. Youāre Reverendās daughter.’ Iām going through all of that and then I have to raise a kid in front of the world, single. ā¦ They (fans) judged me so bad. ā¦ People are always going to have an opinion… But I’m just not your opinion.”
