‘It’s a Baddie’: Ashanti Serves Curves and Legs for Days in Her Recent IG Post

Ashanti‘s curvaceous body is apparently a force to be reckoned with.

The 38-year-old R&B singer displayed her curves for the world to see this weekend during her seemingly extended stay in Saint Philip, Barbados. She was in the Caribbean last week for her concert with soca star Machel Montano at the Soca Universe, to perform their joint collaboration “The Road.”

She took to Instagram Sunday morning and posted an image of her apparent impromptu photo shoot taken outside, in a yard, seemingly just miles away from the beach.

In the picture, Ashanti sported a blue, green and pink peacock swimsuit with a matching coverup. The one-piece displayed her abdominal area, hips and “thick thighs.” Cleary feeling herself, she added in her caption, “🇧🇧 looking for the flying fish 👀 #PrettyLittleThing.”

Her curvaceous post was enough to leave fans gawking.

“It’s a baddie and that body is ridic 🔥.”

“Real curves!! 🔥 Thicker than a cold bowl of potato salad.”

“Yassss queen. Come thru my girl and show them how a natural body looks like 🔥❤️.”

“Don’t hurt em now ashanti you killing it. Forever body goals 😍.”

The “Rain On Me Singer” made it extremely clear that she isn’t afraid to show off God-given natural curves.

During an interview with Buzzfeed in 2017, Ashanti claimed she was learning to embrace her body as is along with staying in tip-top shape.

“I’m embracing who I am naturally, so I go to the gym and work with an awesome trainer, I work with an herbalist, I do detoxes, I juice,” she said. “I’m heavy with my kales and ginger, it’s very important to be aware of what you’re putting in your body.”

Along with her sexy social media visuals, Ashanti plans on releasing new music sometimes this year. Her new album will be the follow-up effort to her 2014 album “Braveheart.”

“I’ve been in studio recording, [I’m] dropping music hopefully later this summer. So, I’m looking forward to that,” she said at the April premiere of her film “Stuck.”

“I did an Instagram live two days ago from the studio, me and Metro Boomin. And, the people want vintage Ashanti R&B, so, we’re gonna give them that — but a 2019 spin,” she added.
