‘Let the Search Begin’: Rap-A-Lot CEO J. Prince Threatens Those Responsible For Using His Company Logo on Illegal Pills

J. Prince, the founder of Rap-A-Lot Records in Houston, Texas, has achieved a lot of respect both in and out of the music industry. And when he talks people often listen.

Like when the rapper YBN Almighty Jay was beaten and robbed in the Bronx, New York, for his Rap-A-Lot chain earlier this year, Prince put out the word to Bronx natives like Fat Joe and Cardi B and had the chain in his possession soon afterward.

This time, the 54-year-old put out another call, and it’s related to illegal pills being distributed throughout Houston that have the Rap-A-Lot Records logo on it.

Prince posted an Instagram message on Wednesday about the pills and had some harsh words for whoever is making them.

“All of my adulthood life I had to avoid being set up by law enforcement and the streets. I vowed with an oath to God in my early 20’s to never contribute to this aspect of the game anymore in my lifetime,” he wrote. “So, you can only imagine how I’m feeling about this violation that’s taking place in the streets of Houston with my brand @rapalotrecords on narcotic pills.”

Prince then wanted to know if law enforcement was trying to entrap him or if someone from the streets was trying to get him in trouble.

“I need to know if the police or the streets are behind this. Because it’s a violation,” he messaged. “If you are caught making, selling or using narcotics with my branding illegally imprinted on them, you’re in violation and will have bigger problems than just the police. Let the search begin Mob Ties family and friends, get at me with information!”

In the comments of Prince’s post, many sided with the music executive and encouraged him to go after the pill-makers.

“Business over everything take em down hard,” someone wrote.

“Man n—-s will do anything for some money!” another person commented. “@jprincerespect i hope u find out who this is! Thats total disrespect cuz u a good dude and i know u wouldnt vouch for this!”
