‘I Knew These Two Would be Fine’: Nene Leakes Spotted Grabbing Lunch with Tanya Sam As She Appears to Begin Making Amends with ‘RHOA’ Cast

Nene Leakes may not consider Tanya Sam to simply be one of her co-workers any longer.

The longtime star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta“ posted a photo on her Instagram Story Thursday posing right alongside Sam, a nurse turned tech industry businesswoman.

“Lunch date,” Leakes simply captioned the photo of the stylish pair.

Upon seeing the image, several fans stated they figured the friends-turned-enemies-turned-friends would be able to settle their issues. After all, Leakes introduced Sam to the show in season 11, which marked Sam’s addition as a friend of the show.

“I love Tanya! She’s got a heart of gold, and it’s awesome to see her and Nene reuniting like they never stopped 😍🤗 she’s definitely going to be one of those that brings everyone back together!”

“I figured they would work it out they didn’t even have an issue.”

“That’s good it’s so good to see them together, and hopefully it stays this way, Tanya has a good heart after comforting Nene at the finale, so it’s great to see them together.”

Leakes famously clashed with Sam at the “RHOA” season 11 reunion after Sam took issue with Leakes apparently not having any faith that Sam would wind up marrying her fiancĂŠ Paul Judge.

That resulted in her unfollowing Sam as well as several of her other co-stars — Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, Kandi Burruss, Eva Marcille.

On Instagram Live after the reunion filmed in March, Leakes dished on her new outlook on the women.

“After 11 seasons I finally realize that these girls are my co-workers,” Leakes said. “They all were trying to secure the bag because half of them are boring so they had no other choice but to come for me — they tried to come [for me], how ’bout that. … It’s so ridiculous to me for them to [act] like, ‘Let’s all link up together and act like we’re nice’ and stuff when they really aren’t.”

But now, it appears Sam is the newest cast member in a series of women with whom Leakes has appeared to put her past issues behind.

On July 10, Leakes was spotted having a lunch date with Burruss at Co – Noodles / Sushi / Bar. Days later, Leakes attended pal Marlo Hampton‘s “I Am Her” wig event. There Kenya Moore, whom Leakes has famously dissed, passed out her Kenya Moore Hair Care products. Leakes was seen holding a bag of the materials as Bravo cameras rolled.
