‘He’s a Cornball’: Cynthia Bailey Forced to Defend Mike Hill After Fans Question His Motives

It seems there have been some doubts about where Cynthia Bailey’s and Mike Hill’s relationship stands and the Fox Sports 1 newscaster was recently forced to set things straight. However, Hill didn’t quite seem to convince the public, leading Bailey to step to his defense.

On Instagram Friday, Hill uploaded a black and white shot mostly featuring himself but also including a hint of Bailey in the frame.

“Just cuz you don’t see as much of her, don’t ever think she’s not in the picture. Stronger than ever. #CHill @cynthiabailey10 #LoveWins #ProsperingandGrowing #MOREcomingsoon,” Hill wrote of his “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star girlfriend of about a year.

Fans initially showed overwhelming support for the pair’s romance.

“I love and respect that statement. Very nice.”

“👏👏👏👏👏👏! What happens outside social media is MOST important!!! Love you two ❤️”

“That’s what I’m talkin bout, Hey Ms @cynthiabailey10 I see yall, Lovin yalls love💖❤🥰”

“@itsmikehill Less is more! 😉”

Bailey also gave her two cents writing, “Ain’t going no where❤️”

However, many began disclosing on an “RHOA” fan Instagram account that they weren’t so sure about how genuine Hill was.

“Ehhhhhh why does this seem forced or simply not needed or necessary 🤷🏻‍♀️”

“Why does Mike rub me the wrong way? 🤔”

“He’s a cornball 🙄”

Those last two remarks spurred a response from Bailey who stuck up for her man and their relationship.

“@ifeellikemoneyman he rubs me the right way tho😜” Bailey replied to one commenter.

To another, she wrote of embracing their corniness.

“@jacobandree so am I & we are happy cornballs. Have a blessed day🙏🏽”

Despite being MIA from one another’s social media feeds as of late, Hill and Bailey have made it a habit to gush about their love for one another online.

“Somebody got his tan on over Memorial Day weekend & now you can’t tell him💩lol! @itsmikehill #baecation #yeslight #CHill #smizecontest #golden,” Bailey wrote in the caption of a golden-hued selfie she and her man took back in May.

Another photo Bailey shared to her page in April caught the lovebirds appearing to go in for a smooch.

“Him❤️ @itsmikehill #CHill #love #godsplan,” the model captioned the post.

Plus, all or most of the selfies Bailey and Hill post of each other include the couple’s own hashtag, #CHill, which includes Bailey’s first initial and Hill’s last name.
