It’s safe to say that some folks just aren’t buying “Love and Hip Hop” couple Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels‘ love for each other.
The pair recently reconciled their apparent broken relationship after Samuels supposedly got busted for cheating. Despite the couple forgiving each other within a matter of days, fans still felt something smelled a little fishy between the two. Mena took to Instagram Tuesday evening and posted a photo of herself and Samuels booed up together while enjoying hot Atlanta’s nice weather.
Mena appeared more than excited for her fiancé’s upcoming birthday on Thursday, writing, “It’s almost your birthday…………. Now watch how I do this.”
A few fans marveled over the post, gushing over the pair’s love.
“I surely do hope you’ll make it you are a beautiful couple 💕 ain’t nothing like a Scorpio and a cancer the love is so intense.”
“I just love them together I’m really hoping they tie the knot and pull through together 😍.”
Other folks felt the pair got back together too fast after the cheating scandal, claiming they’re faking their relationship for social media.
“Y’all still pretending to be in a relationship? It’s all a publicity stunt 🤷.”
“I’ll say it they’re relationship is fake af 🙄 ain’t no way in hell someone is going get back together in 2 days after getting cheated on.”
Mena and Samuel’s post follows days after the Jamaican native allegedly cheated on his fiancé with LHHMIA star Gabrielle Davis, who leaked their supposed text message exchanges.
He later apologized to the model and mother of one for his actions, writing on Twitter, “I’ve lost a lot [before] and dealt with it.. but seriously I cannot lose you. I have never felt so complete in my life and that feeling will be gone if I lose you. You are my everything and I can’t see my future without you. Please Erica.”
Nearly two to three days later, the pair were spotted out on a date night. Samuels confirmed he and Mena are still going through with their wedding.
