Praise for Tami Roman Posing With ‘Twin’ Daughter Goes Left When Commenters Remark on Lyric Anderson’s ‘Thin’ Frame

Fresh off her special “Tami Ever After,” Tami Roman kept up the family theme when she took daughter Lyric Anderson as her date to the BET Awards last Sunday.

The mother-daughter pair posed arm-in-arm on the blue carpet, smiling happily for the cameras.

The image promptly had fans raving about how much Roman and Anderson resembled one another.

“You guys are gorgeous and you look exactly alike.”

“This is your twin and your are looking every bit like her sister #blackdontcrack😍”

“Twins!!! She needs to model.. she’s gorgeous 🔥🔥🔥😍”

However, talk quickly turned to how lean Anderson apparently appeared, and folks did not let up on her.

“Her daughter need a burger.”

“You and your daughter are beautiful. But your model daughter is a little too thin. Although the model world want then rail thin but it’s not healthy, please eat.”

“Very beautiful but Unhealthy thin.”

“Wow she need some meals foreal joe.”

Yet the negativity did spur some commenters to take up for Lyric.

“tami is the proper weight she needs to be and her daughter is fine as well…. you guys are way used to big bitches calling them thick and whit.”

“what was your reason for this, just body shaming.”

While it’s Anderson who has unfortunately been body shamed this time around, such negative remarks are nothing new for Roman. On “Basketball Wives” last season, the actress was targeted by co-star Evelyn Lozada when the pair traded jabs.

“You need to worry about something else like your health,” she said. “You’re lookin’ like a crackhead these days.”

Roman has since put on the weight but explained last year that her suddenly gaunt frame was the result of her taking control of her diabetes.

“I didn’t lose weight, I lost my willingness to die. DIABETES IS NO JOKE!” she wrote on Instagram. “I detox, suppress my appetite and make better food choices. So enjoy yourself laughing, leaving negative comments & calling me a ‘crackhead’…but I have two beautiful daughters and I’m gon’ live for them by ANY means necessary. 💯”
