Peter Thomas took advantage of the long Memorial Day weekend by jetting off to Miami with his girlfriend Toni Scott in tow. But a photo he uploaded of her automatically led to comparisons to his ex-wife, Cynthia Bailey. In response, Thomas hit back.
The one-time Bravolebrity shared a photo of Scott to his Instagram account May 25. In it, the single mom posed on Miami beach in a gold-hued bikini, her hair protected by a headscarf and her hands clasped behind her head.
“BEAUTIFUL.. absolutely ❤️❤️ killing them. @sportsoneclt @clubonecl,” Thomas gushed about his girlfriend of two years.
The image led to the usual response from viewers of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” who slithered into the comments to remark about how Scott compares to Bailey.
“Noooo comparison to Cynthia!!!!!!!”
“Hmm I think Cynthia is better she seems a little thotish😮”
“could N E V E R compare to @cynthiabailey10. she’s the queen & will always be.”
“She’s a beautiful much younger woman Peter, but she’s no Cynthia Bailey bro. Best wishes Peter.”
The last comment resulted in a response from Thomas, who took up for his girl by saying, “@reneehopkins1967 that’s what beautiful about her.”
Afterward, many fans flooded Thomas’ comments section with messages backing his stance. They may have even been more fed up with the comparisons between Thomas’ current boo and his ex than he was.

Thomas and Scott have been showing off their love for one another much more publicly over the last several months.
On Mother’s Day earlier this month, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based business owner shared a loving ode to Scott, who is the mother of an elementary school-aged daughter and another daughter who is in middle school.
“Happy mother’s day to my beautiful @iloveyoutoni you’re a great mother to your beautiful daughter’s ❤️ you. @sportsoneclt @cluboneclt,” the ex-“RHOA” star gushed.
In April, Thomas shared a simple set of photos of the couple posing lovingly, with the caption “Good Morning: @iloveyoutoni keeping me right, @sportsoneclt @baronemiamibeach @cluboneclt ❤️❤️❤️ her.”
