After a mass of breakup rumors surrounding “Love and Hip Hop” couple Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels, they’re letting folks know they’re still together.
For the past few weeks, people have been wondering if their favorite couple split after they went weeks without posting each other on their social media pages. “LHHNY” star Joe Budden even claimed during his podcast last week that the two were headed towards splitsville, saying, “Oh, speaking of smoke, you brought up Safaree broke up with Erica.”
But it seems Budden’s accusations and fans’ assumptions were wrong.
The 31-year-old model took to Instagram on Friday afternoon and posted a video of herself in a revealing bathing suit. While recording herself in the bathroom mirror with her mobile phone, Samuels shows up in the video and grabbed her by the waist.
Mena wrote in her caption, “I’m obsessed with us too 🥰 ♥️.”
Fans went gaga over her post, elated that the split rumors seemed to be false.
“I’m so happy to see them still together 💋💋 so perfect to me i love them.”
“Yas!! Y’all or nothing.. Sorry 😭 y’all need to have that beautiful baby 😍.”
“I thought y’all broke up!! Yyyeeessssssssss 😍😍 lovvvvvvve yalll♥️.”
“I freaking love you guys together ❤️💯 I think it’s time to make a beautiful baby 🤗 so happy u didn’t split.”
A few other fans still weren’t convinced on the pair’s relationship.
“I still think they doing all this for clout they prob been broke up 🙄.”
“They ain’t never been together 🤷🏾.”
Before Mena posted the clip of her and Samuels, she took to Twitter last week and denied hearsay of them breaking up due to the “No Regular Girl” rapper cheating on her.
“FYI to all you flogs if my “ Fiancé “ were to EVER get caught texting any female but me he wouldn’t be able to walk right now. Believe dat! Sincerely a real crazy Latina,” she wrote.
Samuels also tweeted a photo of Mena on his Twitter timeline Sunday evening and wrote, “I miss my f–king woman 😡 🤬.”
Mena responded, “@IAMSAFAREE I got plans for you once I get home 😋.”
It seems Budden’s claims were false and the two are still together.
