Tamar Braxton is on the final round of shows on the “Welcome to the Dungeon” tour and she’s been giving it her all on stage during the scantily-clad performance.
But exposing her body in such a way has opened her up to more criticism and now, she’s hitting back.
On stage at the Cleveland stop of the Kandi Burruss-led burlesque show, Braxton gave it her all in a fitted black bodysuit and thigh-high boots that largely exposed her rear end. Several fans loved the look but a few detractors weighed in, too.

“Dim in legs in back not cute.”
It’s comments like the last one that seemed to have led Braxton to post a lengthy remark on Instagram May 17 bashing folks for criticizing her looks.
“There is FORSURE more cellulite to kiss!!! 😘 some of you are just PURE ignorant as to what a women’s body’s REALLY looks like without a filter🙄 y’all post all about women’s rights and etc but who hears us if we continue to shame ourselves and each other??? I am a PROUD woman and I have earned EVERY wrinkle and dimple,” Braxton said before mentioning how much her boyfriend, David Adefeso loves her figure.
“@david.adefeso loves it and actually likes me thick. I have good credit, a FEW jobs, my bills are paid, my mama house paid for, my son is taken care of AND I’m living my BEST life!! If u can’t deal with my dimples that’s on you!!! Anyway happy birthday @kandi 🗣#giveitupforthebirthdaybih #standupforcellulite 💪🏾 #realwemonrocks,” she concluded.
The post led to an outpouring of positive remarks from fans who eagerly uplifted the star.

But the followers’ support didn’t compare to a lengthy post Braxton’s boyfriend left in the comments section. He wrote in part, “I love every nice juicy spicy yummy piece of sweet tasty thickness on my whole snack of African Queen! #imaybelatebutialwaysshowup.”
And from the looks of Braxton’s response, she loved every word. She simply commented: “🤤”
The outpouring of love on the post came ahead of another round of criticism — only that time, it was for her cooking skills.
Despite Braxton being able to throw down in the kitchen with soul food, she had some trouble whipping up some authentic Nigerian Jollof rice recently.
“What can I do better y’all??? It’s good but it don’t look like David’s sister’s 🤦🏽♀️ 🇳🇬” she said in a caption of a video showing a pot that looked as it it was filled with fried rice.
Fans filled her comments with mocking remarks, but they offered up helpful tips, too.
