Social media continues to remain baffled over Keyshia Cole‘s apparent dramatic transformation.
According to fans, the “Love” singer appeared almost unrecognizable in photos from her Detroit “Keyshia Cole Live In Concert” performance on Mother’s Day weekend. Folks claimed her makeup artist matched her foundation incorrectly, while others refused to believe they were seeing Cole.
The R&B artist took to Instagram on Sunday, May 12, with a post shouting out to her fans and loved ones for Mother’s Day.
“Detroit!!!! I love you!!!! Promise I do!!! Of course I would have shared this moment with you guys!!! (MOM TO BE),” she wrote with an image of herself. ” You’ve been some of my BIGGEST SUPPORTERS!!! The love I feel EVERY TIME I hit a stage here🥰 grateful, thankful, and soooo appreciative!!!!! For LIFE #HAPPYMOTHERSDAY FROM ME AND MY LIL ONES, to ALL THE MOTHERS OUT THERE!!!!!”
Fans, however, probed Cole about her apparent altered look.
“Happy Mother’s Day but whoooooo tf is this!!!” one person commented underneath her photo. “Fire your makeup artist now 🤔.”
“This ain’t K.C. harpo who dis woman? Don’t look nothing like yourself I’m like who is this.”
“Who is that?!!! Doesn’t look like u at all, who you talking about cause this not Keisha cole 🤣.”
“The makeup artist must left your colors for your complexion at home u look dark skinned. I didn’t even recognize you.”
Other fans jumped to her defense.
“Any TRUE MOTHER knows pregnancy can do that to u and sometimes change your whole color smh 🙄 u look beautiful @keyshiacole.”

Cole, 37, and her boyfriend Niko Khale, 23, recently announced they’re expecting a baby together. The couple didn’t specify how far along the singer is, but she recently wrote “about to pop” in her Instagram Story.
She’s already the mother to 9-year-old Daniel Gibson Jr. whom she shares with estranged husband and former NBA star Daniel “Booby” Gibson. The songtress’s son was recently hospitalized in the first week of May and underwent a minor surgical procedure. He shared the experience on Instagram, writing in her post, “Mommy is here with me and I’m READY FOR THIS SURGERY. … I really look forward to breathing and sleeping better, and just overall playing and interacting like a regular kid!”
