‘Shame on Ya’ll’: Fans Rush to the Side of Angela Simmons After She Responds to Pregnancy Rumors

Growing Up Hip Hop” actress Angela Simmons is not here for faux pregnancy rumors.

Fans have been accusing the 31-year-old star of apparently hiding her “pregnant belly,” but she’s saying they’re committing a faux pas.

Simmons took to her Instagram feed on Tuesday evening with an image of herself rocking form-fitting athleisure wear. She posed for the photo with her hands in front of her stomach, seemingly grabbing her fanny pack. Her hair was also to the side, somewhat concealing her mid-section.

“Living in the moment 💗,” she captioned the picture.

Her photo, however, sparked a mass of pregnancy speculation in the comments.

“A baby Romeo in there 🤰 I’ll just wait for a reveal.”

“Went from aaa & stomach out in certain clothes and bikinis to wearing fluffy tops and stomach covered poses 😩.”

Another fan wrote, “She definitely preggo, she been covering that stomach in most of her recent pics or hitting the right angles ijs 🤷.”

Simmons responded, abruptly shutting down any pregnancy rumors, “No I’m not! Not at all.”

Fans of the celeb seconded her response.

“Ang looks good, ya’ll reaching she nowhere near preggo and doesn’t look it 😑.”

“It’s called real life 🤦🏻‍♂️! We get bloated, thick etc. I hope y’all know that what you see like on Kim K isn’t real. Shame on ya’ll for fatshaming Angela smh. not pregnant.”

From the looks of things, the mother of one doesn’t appear to be expanding her family anytime soon and seems to be focused on securing the bag.

She’s set to star in We TV’s new “GUHH” spinoff series “Growing Up Hip Hop: New York.” The show is set to air sometime this summer and will feature some of hip-hop’s most influential artists and their children.

Simmons, along with her brother Jo Jo Simmons and “GUHHATL” cast mate Lil Mama, will be a part of the series’ cast. New faces will include rapper Ja Rule and his children Jeff Bruce Atkins Jr. and Brittney Atkins; “Murder Inc” magnate Irv Gotti and his children Angie Pearson and Jonathan “JJ” Wilson Lorenzo; as well as a few others.
