As Riley Burruss continues to mature, she’s growing more and more comfortable in the skin she’s in. The teen worked hard last summer to drop the extra weight, and as this summer begins to roll around she’s showing off her hard work.
On Monday, the 16-year-old uploaded a couple of photos posing outside her family’s home in Atlanta in a black, off-the-shoulder ribbed dress.
“chill tuesdays🥶” Riley captioned the post, which was taken on a day when temperatures reached a high of 82 degrees.
Fans promptly applauded Riley for her appearance.

But then, Burruss remarked, “🤨 What do you have on mam?….”
Not long afterward Tucker said, “You better take that off!”
Riley laughed off her mom’s response but kept quiet on Tucker’s comment.
Riley’s trainer was delighted with the apparent confidence emanating from the teen.
“Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa! It’s time to start serving lil kandi,” wrote Kory Phillips of Lovely Bodies training.
Burruss, however, wanted him to pipe down.
“@iamthekingoffitness no it ain’t… Don’t get her in trouble! 😂” Burruss said.
That Phillips would be pleased about Riley’s comfort in her looks is not surprising. The trainer, who is on Instagram under the handle @iamthekingoffitness, helped Burruss shed 52 pounds last year.
Still, Riley isn’t stopping there. After her mom gushed on her Instagram page about how much work the teen put into her fitness regimen since November 2017, she took to her own Instagram page to say there’s more where that came from.
“My journey is not over,” Riley said in June 2018. “I have larger goals I am trying to reach and I hope everybody follows me throughout my journey. I’ve been seeing people’s comments about them struggling with weight loss. I know the struggle & its real. But it can be done. Roll with me and let’s do it together! & I just want to thank everyone for your supportive comments!”
Since then, Riley has been keeping fans in the loop regarding how she’s stayed firm on her journey to fitness. She shared a YouTube video in February giving fans a glimpse of her gym routine, which included weight lifting, leg presses and battle ropes exercises.
