Over the weekend,” Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” alum Erica Mena fired off on a detractor who bashed her physical appearance.
Mena was recently in Kingston, Jamaica, with her fiancé Safaree Samuels, who shot his music video there for his new single “No Regular Girl.”
While visiting Samuels’ native country, Mena apparently met her favorite reggae artist, Bounty Killer. In her Instagram post she shared on Saturday, the former “LHHATL” star reflected back on her younger days, when she supposedly use to win house party dance contests moving to his music.
“Y’all can’t tell me $hit! I met my Best Friend @grunggaadzilla 🤑,” the 31-year-old wrote in her caption, along with a photo of herself, Samuels and Bounty Killer. “Growing up in NY I used to win all my house party dance contest with this Don’s music. ( Yes I used to dance my ass off. Spilts and all. … If you know me you know I’m a Bounty Killer Fan for life!!! I live for suicide or murda 💯.”
However, Mena’s post was stepped on by folks who pointed out the apparent discoloration between her face and body. One person in particular took issue with the star’s appearance, writing, “Not trying to be funny but why does your face not match your body in this pic?”
The mother of one ruthlessly hit back at the person, “Just be happy your face matches your rude looking body and carry on.”
Fans and supporters also jumped to her defense.

Mena later deleted the detractor’s comments and her response. She continues to appear unmoved by negative Nellies’ remarks and is basking in her love with Samuels. During a recent Instagram Live session, she announced that she and her fiancé were trying for a baby.
The couple have supposedly set the date for the wedding but have yet to announce it on social media. The pair got engaged on Christmas Eve when Samuels proposed to her at her Atlanta home.
