D.L. Hughley and Meek Mill Outraged That Chris Darden From O.J. Simpson’s Trial Is Defending Nipsey Hussle’s Alleged Killer: ‘House N—a’

It seems the anger related to Nipsey Hussle‘s slaying grew even more when his suspected killer Eric Holder pleaded not guilty to murder and attempted murder charges after he was arrested earlier this week. He’s now being held on $5 million bond.

Hussle was shot and killed Sunday in the Hyde Park section of Los Angeles outside of his clothing store, and it recently emerged that Chris Darden, formerly of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, is defending Holder. Two other men were also shot during the incident.

Darden is best known for being one of the prosecutors in O.J. Simpson‘s 1995 murder trial, and the fact that he’s representing Holder bothered D.L. Hughley.

The comedian shared a photo of Darden and Holder appearing in court on Thursday, and in the caption he wrote: “You can’t make this sh– up.” Hughley also added the hashtag “#disgusting” to express his anger.

Then a few hours later, Hughley posted a video of the two men in court, where Darden can be heard agreeing with the $2 million reduction of the suspect’s bond to $5 million.

“Damn #ChrisDarden defending #EricHolder #TeamDl,” wrote Hughley next to the clip.

Hughley wasn’t the only celebrity who said he was disgusted by Darden, Meek Mill expressed similar feelings. On Thursday, the Philly rapper also shared a screenshot of Darden in court and blasted him for defending Holder.

“As self hate continues in the black community #housen—a,” tweeted Mill.

Then in a separate tweet he wrote: “We at war with the system and the streets!!! #forevernip.”

Both Hughley and Mill’s messages drew various responses, and people seemed just as bothered about Darden being Holder’s attorney as they did.

“All skin folk ain’t kin folk,” someone wrote under Hughley’s post.

“Thirsty for attention,” another person wrote about the defense attorney.

According to reports, Darden was privately retained by Holder.
