Angela Simmons, the daughter of DJ Rev Run, posted a salacious image of herself this week, prompting fans to caution her about creeps online.
Simmons has been on a roll lately, posting a gang of titillating pictures of herself in skin-showing bikinis. The latest ‘Gram-flossing photo was posted on Tuesday evening, a selfie captured by the celeb of herself standing in a mirror with a two-piece swim set on.
She wrote in her photo caption,” Ready for a getaway☀️ @mattecollection ♥️ #TimeToGetInTheGym #BNB #LinkInBio #builtnotbought.”
The alluring image of Simmons sparked an uproar from fans in the comments.
“She post these pics, then will prolly be upset when folks slide in the dms. Don’t be mad at the dudes in ya inbox #thirstrap.”
“I get the whole workout and showing off results but to damn near every pic of you in a bathing suit or next to nothing, you seeking attention sis 😢.”
“Angela girl put some clothes on just so unladylike 😠🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ what would your dad say?’
“She cries about stalking yet she is posting this crap, she is doing this to get attention,” one fan said, referring to Simmons 2016 revelation about dealing with a stalker on “Growing Up Hip Hop.”
Other folks raced to the celeb’s defense.
“Ya’ll always talking about her like every female don’t post bikini pics 😫 tell people to control their hormones not her.”
“If u have a problem wit her in a bikini just unfollow her she can post what she wants.”
Over the years, the 31-year-old mother has dealt with a wave of slut-shaming from fans due to her carefree nature and a former pledge she made, vowing to not have sex before marriage. However, Simmons apparently broke her vow, and fans reaction was swift when she announced her pregnancy with her now 2-year-old son Joseph Sutton Tennyson in 2016. She felt social media harshly judged her for having a child out of wedlock with her ex-fiancé Sutton Tennyson, who was gunned down last November.
“They judged me,” the former Pastry owner recalled during season 3 of “GUHH.’
“People are always going to be in my comments, ‘Where’s the dad?’ It’s nonstop. They’re always worried about my ring and if it’s on or off,” Simmons said. “They think they know me and they really don’t. They have no idea.”
She continued, “Of course, I heard a lot of chatter about me having a child out of wedlock. You got to imagine, my son has to look back at this one day, and, you know what, I’m human and it happened.”
