Evelyn Lozada was having some fun with her pal Shaunie O’Neal as she promoted her earrings recently, but a fan took the moment as shade, leading the star to clap back.
Lozada shared a photo from O’Neal’s Instagram page onto her own Saturday, March 30, and promoted her Evelyn Signature hoop earrings, which adorned O’Neal.

Several fans saw the comedy in the caption, even if they did say it was “petty.”

Even O’Neal herself delighted in the remark by commenting, “My baby hurrr real 😊.”
However, one follower saw the caption as shade and didn’t think the statement was necessary.
“She’s shading someone as usual,” user @cynthialovick69 commented.
Lozada, however, slammed the declaration.
“@cynthialovick69 I hope you stretched before that reach, 🙄” she said.
Rather than shading her friend, co-star and “Basketball Wives” executive producer, fans speculated that Lozada’s caption actually references the back-and-forth between “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Nene Leakes and Porsha Williams.

The two have been trading barbs online ever since Leakes explained in a YouTube video that Williams supposedly dubbed her lines claiming she was scared during a near-scuffle on the show.
In response, Williams commented on Instagram, “YOU ARE A BALD EDGES LIE! NOTHING WAS TAPED AND ADDED! I said that the exact moment you were assaulting people on camera! 🎥 JUST THE SAME WAY MARLO YELLED ‘She’s pregnant!’!!! *back to breastfeeding I go 💋🤱🏽”
She later deleted the comment.
But the gloves really came off Friday when Williams posted a thread of nasty text messages the two sent one another. After Leakes accused Williams of lying “for no reason,” the new mom once again made fun of Leakes’ thinning hairline.
“I’m happy and blessed. Goodnight edges 
” she said.
Also adding to speculation, Williams herself commented on the Lozada thread, saying, “Yassss body & edges😂 🤸🏾♀️🔥 #HotMomma #Milf.”
