The latest video Nene Leakes uploaded to her official YouTube channel is entitled “Read and shade,” and that’s exactly what she doled out to her “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-stars. But Porsha Williams, Eva Marcille and Cynthia Bailey did not take what she said lying down.
In the 41-minute video, Leakes airs out her issues with the ladies. She first dismissed Marcille for making it into a big deal that Leakes cried at her wedding. She also asked if anyone had seen her do “anything below the belt” concerning Marcille, who Leakes said “came for her” at the reunion.
Marcille then called Leakes out for her “shady ass antics” at the ceremony.
Next, Leakes tore into Williams, who has hinted that during the incident in Leakes’ closet at the “Bye Wig” party, Leakes touched Williams in a way that was potentially harmful.
“Yes, I grabbed the cameraman … I ain’t never denied it,” Leakes starts. “But what I am telling you, is I never touched that girl and if she wants to say that, she can say it all she wants to. … Trust me, if you listen to that footage long enough, you will know when we go into our interviews, she did that in a interview.
“We go into the studios to do our interviews,” Leakes explains further of Williams audibly saying, “I’m scared” as the camera cut from Leakes heading into her closet after Williams and Kandi Burruss went in without Leakes’ permission. “If there’s something not said clear, we have to say it to the cameras so they can make sure that it’s said clear and put in. … Girl, you violent. You done been in five fights. Now all of a sudden you scared and don’t touch me? Most mamas if they pregnant, if somebody came near them, they would go crazy.”
In response, new mom Williams commented that Leakes’ take on the matter wasn’t true. “YOU ARE A BALD EDGES LIE!” she said in part. The remark was later deleted.
Leakes also went on Instagram Live and tore into Bailey, whom she felt was wrong for not giving her a warning that Kenya Moore would show up to Bailey’s Seagram’s Escapes beverage launch party.
The O.G. wife explained that Bailey had insisted that Leakes inform Marcille that her pal Yovanna Momplaisir would be coming to her “Bye Wig” party since Momplaisir and Marcille had previously clashed. As such, Leakes had a problem with Bailey not extending the same courtesy to her.
“Why you didn’t tell me that Kenya was coming?” Leakes said. “Since you felt I should have let Eva know because Eva has this issue with Yovanna, you should let me know that Kenya’s coming since she and I have an issue. Cynthia never told me anything. Now you’re gonna just have to see the finale to see what happens. That is the reason why me and Cynthia has fallen out.”
Bailey took her usual approach and promoted her peach bellini.
