The reality veteran recently traded in her black mane for vivid red ringlets. She took to Instagram on Tuesday with a slew of photos, parading her new hair color. She appeared to be preparing for an evening on the town inside her Dallas hotel room as she modeled the edgy look in her pink robe and black undergarments.
Kalysha attended the Errol Spence and Mikey Garcia boxing match on March 16 at AT&T Stadium in nearby Arlington. The reality star seemingly wanted to look her best and rocked her hair in a side part with her voluminous cherry red wand curls. She paired her new ‘do up with a black shaggy sweater dress sold by She’s Beat Boutique, bejeweled tights by Balenciaga and gold open-toe stiletto heels by René Caovilla. She accessorized her look with a black Balenciaga handbag and gold cross necklace.
The 34-year-old captioned the images, “Dallas glam recap 🔴” and added, “Let’s play big bank take little bank 🏦.”
Fans showered Kalysha with a gang of compliments, stating how fabulous she looked with red hair.
“Bihhhh that hair is slayyyyyyed‼️😍😁 @masikakalysha,” one fan commented underneath her photos. “You look like a cherry bomb 🔴.”
Another person wrote, “Loving the hair color on you u killing the game 😘. You giving us all kinds of Jessica Rabbit vibes!”
A third fan commented, “Say what you want…. But she kill red hair.. I love that color on her 😍.”
“Red is stunning on you 🔥! you killed it!” another fan added.
A few fans weren’t too impressed with her hair color and told her to switch back to black.
“Oh she going after the Peg Bundy look I see 😂, yeah go back to black hair.”
“It’s too much color and she looks like a plastic doll 😩🤷🏽♀️.”
Believe it or not, Kalysha has a passion for hair and created her own hair care line, Kharie Barbie Beauty. The collection was inspired by her 2-year-old daughter Kharie Barbie Maxwell, whose father is rapper Fetty Wap.
She premiered the line in July 2017 including her growth-stimulating formula and her infamous Everyday Baby Hair Oil. She wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post on her launch day, “Everybody has been asking me for my hair oil that I make for my daughter! Well it is now available. I make this product by hand in my kitchen with only the finest organic, essential and carrier oils.”
She continued, “I started researching and mixing my own oils together, initially for my daughter’s beautiful hair, but after extensive research, I started doing oil treatments on my self. From September to November, my hair grew about 3 inches.”
Kalysha’s hair products can be found on www.kharibarbiebeauty.com. The cost of the items range from $2 to $55.
