Jennifer Williams’ involvement on “Basketball Wives” may be in question this season, but what isn’t for some fans is her apparent resemblance to singer Mary J. Blige.
The reality star uploaded a selfie to her Instagram page Wednesday, March 13, and told her followers she was soaking up some sun with the top down in her Ferrari convertible.
“Catchin’ some vitamin D ☀️” the star captioned the post.
Perhaps it was the lighting and the angle, but when a couple of fans saw the photo they instantly thought of the “Only Love” singer.
“Thought this was Mary J. Blige for a minute.”
“For a split sec I thought this Mary J Blige.”
If that’s not enough to convince some fans, perhaps a photo Williams uploaded to Instagram back in 2012 could.
Apparently, Williams doesn’t just look like MJB in a certain light, but she is also one of the singer’s pals, if this photo and a tweet are to be believed.
Williams and Nene Leakes caught up with each other in New York City that May and snapped a pic with Blige along the way.
“Only in NYC with @maryjblige and @neneleakes! Sunday Funday!” Williams captioned the pic of the trio.
She also retweeted a response from Leakes, saying, “True statement!! RT @NeNeLeakes: Me & my girls shutting down NYC 2nite babeeee @maryjblige @iamjennifer.”
Fans applauded her friendship and seemed to be more supportive of this trio than anyone she could be a part of on “Basketball Wives.”

Currently, Williams has seemed to keep a firm distance from her “Basketball Wives” co-stars, making fans think she’s not going to appear on the upcoming season. She has not been seen filming with the likes of Jackie Christie, Evelyn Lozada, Ogom “OG” Chijindu and ex-newbies CeCe Gutierrez and Kristen Scott, who have all been spotted taping at least once since production started in January.
