‘This is the Greatest Baby Gift Ever:’ Maury Povich Gifts Porsha Williams and Fiancé with Hilarious Paternity Present for Baby PJ

Married couple-to-be Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley are anxiously awaiting the birth of their baby girl, and fellow TV star Maury Povich, 80, is making sure there are no doubts about the little one’s paternity.

McKinley shared a photo of Povich’s hilarious gift on Instagram this week: a tiny onesie featuring the talk show host’s face and famous tagline, “You are the father!” The present also came with a note to the future mom and dad that read, “Dear Porsha and Dennis, I wanted to celebrate the arrival of your baby girl with a small gift from ‘The Maury Show.’ ”

The thoughtful surprise left McKinley and fans in stitches.

“Maury man, you petty,” McKinley wrote, followed by several laughing emojis.

Fans were equally amused and wasted no time applauding Povich for the comical yet thoughtful gift to the couple’s baby, affectionately known as “PJ.”

“Maury is such a fun guy,” one fan wrote. “God bless him and congratulations to you again Dennis!”

“You’ve gotta love Uncle Maury,” wrote another.

“THIS IS THE GREATEST BABY GIFT EVER!” another fan exclaimed, before adding: “That baby better wear that.”

The joke didn’t sit well with some folks, however, including one fan who argued the gift was “lowkey disrespectful.” It wasn’t long before fellow users slammed him for, “sucking all the fun out, fun sucker.”

Little baby “PJ” will be McKinley and Williams’ first child together, and the couple could not be more excited. Last fall, Williams gushed to PEOPLE Magazine about the joys of becoming a mother after suffering a miscarriage six years ago. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star is now nine months pregnant and ready to pop.

“The thought of me getting that blessing after praying for it for so long and getting that blessing with someone who is just as excited as me — it’s Dennis’ first child, just like me — and it’s something we’ve both always wanted … It’s like a dream come true,” she told the magazine at the time.

“I believe he’s probably shed more tears during the process than me,” Williams said of her husband to be, whom she’s know for years but only began dating this past year. “It’s just the sweetest moment of my life right now.”

The sound of wedding bells is in the air, but there’s no word on when the couple will walk down the aisle.
