R. Kelly’s Girlfriend Azriel Clary Accuses Her Parents of Pimping Her to the Singer

Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary recently sat down with “CBS This Morning’s” Gayle King and discussed their relationship with R. Kelly, who was hit with 10 counts of sexual abuse last month.

Both Savage and Clary are the singer’s live-in girlfriends, and they admitted to having a three-way relationship with him. Savage is 23 years old, Clary is 21, and Kelly is 52.

During the interview, which aired Thursday, March 7, King said she recently spoke to Clary’s father, who told her he thought his daughter is brainwashed. He also said she wouldn’t look him in the eye when they spoke recently.

“I wouldn’t look him in the eye because he’s a liar,” stated Clary. “He’s a manipulative liar.”

After that, King said Clary’s father told her that he found text messages which showed she was having sex with the singer at 17 years old, which Clary denied.

The 21-year-old also relayed a theory as to why she believes her dad made all of those claims.

“OK, so when I first met Robert, my parents told me to lie about my age,” Clary alleged. “So when I met him, he thought that I was 18. On top of that, when I was 17, my parents were actually making me, trying to get me to take photos with him, take sexual videos with him, all kinds of stuff. And they said, because if they ever have to blackmail him, what they’re trying to do now, they can use it against him, which is exactly what they’re doing.”

Joycelyn Savage joined the discussion from there and said everything Clary stated was true about their parents wanting money. On top of that, Savage said their folks are upset because the music dreams they had for them didn’t pan out.

But Clary said she never wanted to be a singer, and her parents forced her to pursue it, which made her so distraught she wanted to kill herself at one point.

CBS News later reported it obtained the medical records from that suicide attempt, which actually stated Clary tried to take her life over an ex-boyfriend, not because her parents pressured her to sing.

Still, she maintained that her parents wanted to blackmail Kelly all along.

They said, ‘Oh, I’ll put all your naked pictures all over the world. I’m going to ruin you, I’m going to ruin him. If he doesn’t send $20,000 to this bank account by Monday, oh, I’m gonna put everything out there, and then $10,000 after that.’” said Clary. “You’re trying to solicit me like I’m some f–king ho. I’m not, I’m your child.”

About 30 minutes after the interview, Savage contacted her parents for the first time since 2017 and told them she was happy.

Clary’s parents have not responded to their daughter’s claims yet, however, in a press conference on Wednesday, an attorney for Savage’s parents denied they ever received money from Kelly.
