‘It’s Called Karma B–ch’: ‘LHHMIA’ Fans Not Buying Jojo’s Claim That Amara La Negra Put ‘Roots’ on Her

Social media remains unconvinced by Jojo Zarur‘s farfetched supernatural allegations against her “Love and Hip Hop: Miami” co-star Amara La Negra.

Zarur and La Negra were thick as thieves during season 1 of “LHHMIA” but fell out due to Zarur’s friendship with Bobby Lytes, La Negra’s foe.

The Afro-Latina singer accused Zarur of being “fake” for hanging out with Lytes, who seemingly attacked her image by wearing an afro. Not long after their disagreement, the dynamic duo decided to end their friendship came after Lytes verbally attacked La Negra at one of her shows and Zarur just stood there and watched. The musician said she was hurt that her former bestie didn’t jump to her defense and have her back.

In the midst of the co-stars’ bubbling feud, the Zarur Boutique owner got into an explosive confrontation with her cast mate Veronica Vega, whom she almost fought last season for ostensibly talking bad about her ex-bestie La Negra. She also got into a physical altercation with her former friend Shay Johnson, who accused Zarur of dating her ex-boyfriend behind her back. Additionally, Zarur’s business is “doing horrible.”

During the March 4 episode 10, Zarur accused La Negra of putting “roots on” her, a form of causing someone supernatural harm and/or a spiritual curse.

“Everything is a mess,” Zarur said. “My relationships, I’ve got all this beef. I’m depressed, like there’s nothing in my life right now that’s going right.”

She decided to go to a “spiritual adviser,” who allegedly told her that a girl she considered a “sister” put roots on her. Zarur seemingly assumed the sister was La Negra and accused her of casting a “bad luck” spell on her. She told fans that the only way to undo La Negra’s alleged “roots” was to travel to Mexico and get a cleansing.

However, “LHHMIA” viewers felt Zurur’s spell-casting allegations towards La Negra were absolutely “ridiculous.”

“Jojo sound so stupid ‘Amara put roots on me’ GIRLLLLLL PLS find another story line 😳 .”

“Maybe it’s not Roots, JoJo, maybe you’re just a negative a– person and the Universe is serving you.”

“It’s called Karma b–ch! That’s bullshit…. Its because of Amara’s ethnicity she pulled that card.. You get what you give… Karma don’t forget nobody!”

“Na sis you just cursed 😡.”
