‘When You Shine at Everything’: Tami Roman Wows Fans In Newest Getup on Set of Snoop’s Show

Tami Roman continues to keep herself booked and busy by filming a segment for Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart’s VH1 variety show.

The reality star on Thursday uploaded a stunning shot of herself posing in a huge auburn Afro, massive hoop earrings, a bold red lip — compliments of makeup artist Star Bahati — and an equally bold jumpsuit styled by her personal stylist UDI.

“#SetLife,” Roman captioned the Feb. 27 image.

Fans couldn’t help but give heavy acclaim for her ’70s look.

“When you shine in everything, Queen @tamiroman 👑👑👑👑💖💖💖💖💖👑👑👑👑👑”

“Yassss! Slayed 🔥🔥🔥🔥”

“I ❤ what you’re doing on here! You’re inspiring Doll!!! With your fresh look and positive vibes – this year you will succeed in all you do #keephimfirst 😍😊😘”

“Come on get Christy Love 😍@tamiroman”

“NOW YOU KNOW I LOVE THAT HAIR….YESSSS….IT LOOKS GOOD ON YOU….”

Roman is set to appear on “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” as part of a theme show, appearing to be centered on the 1970s. She shared her on-set moment on her Instagram Story Wednesday, seeming to weigh whom she’ll side with as she held up photos of Snoop and Stewart.

While it remains to be seen if Roman joinsBasketball Wives” this season, she’s got plenty going on to keep her schedule — and her wallet — full.

Last year it was reported that Roman was gearing up to have her own variety show with Snoop called “Get Into It…Forizzle.” The show purportedly was to begin filming in March 2018.

“Snoop and I are teaming up to bring the funny and I am ecstatic!” Roman told Vibe magazine at the time. “He is a legend who is blessing me with this opportunity to expand. His willingness to partner on this venture is humbling and we are about to make magic.”

And while viewers await the final product, they have several other Roman projects to satisfy their need to see their favorite actress and TV personality on screen.

In January, Roman channeled her inner villain for the BET movie “Fall Girls” and wrapped the first season of the network adaptation of “Carl Weber’s The Family Business.” On top of that, her Tidal series “Bonnet Chronicles,” an adaptation of her online comedy personality, is also available for streaming.

But Roman isn’t just stopping at TV and acting. Next month will mark the release of her shoe line with designer Jessica Rich.

“So excited to team up with this beautiful & talented being @jessicarich on another dream of mine! Shoes coming MARCH 2019 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽,” Roman eagerly shared on Instagram.

Independent journalism doesn't fund itself.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
