After remarking for weeks about how she’s in her third trimester, Porsha Williams is finally going on maternity leave.
The star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is taking a break from her duties on “Dish Nation” and “Good Day Atlanta” to gear up to welcome her daughter with fiancé Dennis McKinley into the world.
Williams confirmed the news by sharing a post from Fox 5’s official Instagram page which noted Feb. 20 marked her last day on the GDA set before she becomes a mom.
“@porsha4real and @alyseeadyfox5 looking lovely on set. Yesterday was Porsha’s last appearance on #gooddayatlanta before going on maternity leave. Help us wish her well, she’s going to be a great mother! #motherhood #dishnation #rhoa #baby,” the post read.
Anchor Alyse Eady added that the crew will “miss @porsha4real but wish her the best!”
Williams isn’t simply taking off and relaxing, however. The star shared on her Instagram Story Thursday evening that she was preparing to do a maternity photo shoot.
After getting her edges laid by hairstylist Alonzo Arnold, Williams did her shoot and her assistant Dominic Rahjee, announced it was a wrap.
“Just wrapped the PJ maternity shoot,” Rahjee says.
“Yes, we did!” Williams exclaims as she excitedly rubs her belly.
Rahjee urged fans to stay tuned to see the final photos, which were shot by celebrity stylist known as “NoIGJeremy.”
This will be the first official maternity shoot Williams will have after doing an impromptu one while she celebrated her cousin’s birthday at Cafe Istanbul in Atlanta.
“Pj literally moved in each shot 😂 We will buss a maternity shoot anywhere lmao ❤️🤰🏽 #AwaitingPJ #3rdTrimester,” she captioned the post made at the end of January.
While Williams managed to pull off some impressive shots at the time, the photos didn’t compare to the ones she took while on her babymoon in the Bahamas back in December.
“🙌🏾🤰🏽I can’t thank this amazing team enough for a wonderful babymoon shoot!” the mother-to-be wrote in her Instagram caption that month. “Made me feel so comfortable & knew all my angles lol !! The Videographer @ndofilms Truly captured the real time experience so well! ❤️💋 #PjMomma #MckinleyBabyMoon.”
In these shots, Williams bared her belly and sunkissed skin in a bikini and PJ even made her presence known with a limb poking at her mama’s side.
Fans don’t know what look they’ll get for Williams’ official pregnancy photos, but the star may be decidedly more clothed according to the glimpse from the IG Story video.
