Evelyn Lozada’s Son Takes After His Father In More Ways Than One

Evelyn Lozada‘s 4-year-old son Leo seems to already be taking after his father, MLB player Carl Crawford, by seemingly choosing the baseball route.

The “Basketball Wives of L.A.” star took to Instagram this week and shared a video of her son’s athletic abilities. In the video, little Leo appeared to be a pro at baseball as he adjusted his swinging formation to gear up and hit the ball. He took two small practice swings with his baseball bat before striking the ball perfectly and knocking it out of the park.

“Wow,” Lozada can be heard yelling in the background while she cheered for her 4-year-old.

She also added in her photo caption, “It don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that swing 💫⚾️ #CarlLeoCrawford.”

Fans were amazed by little Leo’s “natural” athletic ability to play baseball.

“Yesssssss! He hit the hell outta that ball like a lil pro. 🙌,” one fan commented.

“What a natural!I was in awe to see his swing and didn’t miss..💕😊,” another added.

A slew of fans said the 4-year-old definitely picked up his batting skills from his father Crawford.

“It’s in the DNA! 👏🏽 little man takes after his dad,” a fan said.

“Next MLB player ⚾️  superstar just like his father! He looks like a natural!!” another exclaimed.

Lozada and Crawford welcomed their son into the world in March 2014. The mother of two delivered her baby boy naturally after just four pushes. She told People magazine, “I’m excited about being a mommy all over again. This is something I’ve been wanting for years and I can’t believe it’s finally happening.”

Lozada and the former Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder kept their relationship a secret until Crawford proposed to her in December 2013. However, the ex-couple called it quits in February 2017 due to the athlete’s “infidelity issues.” A rep for the “BBW” star said Lozada and Crawford were focused on co-parenting and raising their son.

Both parents still remain friends and even took a family portrait with their son in December after surprising him at school for winning “Star of the Week.”
