Mommy-to-be Porsha Williams glowed as she showed off her growing baby bump in an Instagram post this week.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and fiance’ Dennis McKinley are expecting their first child together and couldn’t be more thrilled. After months of rumors and speculation, Williams finally confirmed her pregnancy to People magazine last year but has remained tight-lipped about her due date.
That hasn’t stopped fans from asking the hard questions, however.
“When you due? Feels like you’ve been pregnant for ages,” one fan wrote.
“[You’ve] been pregnant like ole girl from Family Guy lol,” another joked.
“It seems like you been pregnant for so long 😫,” one woman opined.
“When PJ gone be ready?,” another asked. “I cannot wait to have a double dose of @porsha4real in my life!💕💕💕”
Late last year, Williams pulled the ultimate prank on her fans when she joked that she and McKinley were expecting not one, but TWO babies next fall.
“Just when we thought our lives weren’t hectic enough … it looks like 2019 will be even busier! These two are due in September❤️. I don’t know who their parents are, but copy and paste to freak everyone else out!!” the caption on an ultrasound of twin embryos read.
Fans couldn’t help but laugh at themselves for falling for the ruse, however, not everyone was laughing, and argued the joke was insensitive to women who’ve lost pregnancies.
Prior to conceiving the baby she and fiance’ Dennis call “PJ,” Williams suffered a miscarriage of her own.
“I’ve had a miscarriage before in my past, which I’ve also been open about because I suffer with fibroids and had to have a myomectomy,” she told People Magazine last year. “So just the fear of, ‘Is the baby going to be okay? Will I make it full term?’ All those questions that you ask if you’ve had a miscarriage before.”
Of her baby girl, Williams said, “The thought of me getting that blessing after praying for it for so long … it’s a dream come true.”
