Ciara Keeps It Classy When It Comes to Future’s Ongoing One-Sided Feud with Russell Wilson, QB Takes High Road Too

Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson don’t appear to be letting ex-fiancé Future’s pettiness get the best of her. On the contrary, the spouses are taking the high road.

On Saturday, Jan. 19, the “Dose” singer uploaded a shot to Instagram sporting sky-high boots with the caption, “Rise Above.”

Wilson also used the social media account to share a photo of his daughter with Ciara, Sienna Princess, and his stepson, Future Zahir Wilburn, whose father is Future.

“All that matters. #Love,” Wilson said in the caption.

Several fans took the posts to be a response to Future’s remarks about CiCi’s husband of two years.

“Rise above all that, I’ll go low for you. Future, Russell Wilson is man enough to take care of your child.”

“Perfect example of investing in YOUR family, loving YOUR family and bringing about a positive change that is very much needed….”

“He is unhappy and sad to see her in better place than he expected. He thought no one could be with her after him. But like all know there is always better after knowing your worth and not sitting in a mess hoping things would get better….”

As for the words that possibly led Ciara to post her message about taking the high road, Future dismissed her husband as “not being a man.”

“He do exactly what she tell him to do,” Future said on Freebandz Radio Thursday, Jan. 17, about the Seattle Seahawks quarterback. “I don’t have no feelings for [him].”

“He’s not being a man at that point,” Future continued when his longtime pal Big Bank Black asked the rapper if he thought Wilson goes too far with his ex. “You not telling her, ‘Chill out with that on the Internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband. You better not even bring Future’s name up.’ If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up. She know that. She couldn’t even bring her exes’ names up. You don’t bring their name up in interviews. Don’t give that s— no energy.”

He also took aim at his ex for dragging him to court over various custody issues. The latest is that Ciara claims Future is inconsistent when their son visits Atlanta from Seattle.

Still, Future didn’t have all bad things to say about Wilson. He said he didn’t even mind the QB teaching his son how to play football because of his top athletic status.
