Phaedra Parks and her new man Tone Kapone are certainly feeling each other and doing what they can to make long distance work.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum got dressed up and went to dinner with her Chicago radio host and TV personality boyfriend at Katana in Beverly Hills, California Thursday night.
The pair enjoyed Japanese dishes including sushi. As they dined, Kapone lovingly demonstrated a function on the selfie camera to his Atlanta attorney girlfriend.
The sweet moment was uploaded to an RHOA fan account Jan. 18 and fans eagerly praised Parks for her new romance.

Others made it clear that Parks firmly upgraded from ex-husband Apollo Nida. He has been in prison on charges of conspiring to commit mail, wire and bank fraud for the last four years. His divorce from Parks was finalized in 2017.

Parks was first spotted with Kapone on New Year’s Eve when she went to Chicago to ring in 2019. Even before their coupledom was confirmed, fans already pegged them as an item.

Kapone affirmed the two were an item just a couple of days later on his Instagram Story.
“Yes, me and Phaedra are dating. OK, cool. Is that it? That’s the big moment everybody was waiting for,” he said to those watching. “Yeah, it was kind of self-explanatory on her page. I didn’t want to re-post it because it seemed like it would have been super weird. Like, yeah, look at me. If you know anybody that knows me, I’m not that kind of guy.”
The news shouldn’t surprise fans, however. Parks told People magazine in November that she was seeing someone new but didn’t detail who he was.
“I have a special guy that I’ve been seeing,” she said at the time. “I’m really excited. We haven’t introduced him to the world but he’s a baby doll. He looks like a treat because he is a treat. He’s a great guy.”
