Reality actress Angela Simmons shook the Internet with her red carpet attire for the season 4 premiere of “Growing Up Hip Hop.”
Simmons sported a tight-fitting purple dress with a V-neck collar and topped it off with black thigh-high boots. Her wardrobe was picked by celebrity fashion stylist Ashley Sean Thomas, who’s worked with singer Tamar Braxton, Toni Braxton, “Basketball Wives” executive producer Shaunie O’Neal, model Eva Marcille, and many others.
The 31-year-old’s makeup consisted of a subtle smoky-eye and rouge lip mastered by celebrity makeup artist Melissa R. Hibbert of California. She also rocked wavy tresses by Yummy Extensions that was styled by celebrity hairstylist Maisha Oliver.
The “GUHH” premiere party took place in Los Angeles at West Hollywood’s Nightingale nightclub on Wednesday, Jan. 9, and several others of Simmons’ cast mates were in attendance, including rap sensation Pepa and her daughter Egypt, as well as Damon Dash and his son Boogie Dash. Celebs from “Love and Hip Hop” such as Tammy Rivera and her husband Waka, Jessica Dime, Nia Riley, as well as Lil Mo and her husband Karl Dugan were also present at the party as We TV was promoting both “GUHH” and another Thursday premiere, ”Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition.”

Simmons’ fiancé Tennyson, 37, was shot to death on Nov. 3, 2018, in Atlanta. He was found at his home inside an open garage with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, the 31-year-old reality actress mourned the loss of her ex-fiancé in an Instagram post that read, “I’m hurting. I’m numb. Thank you for the out pouring [sic] of love everyone,” she continued, by saying that she couldn’t “believe I’m even saying Rest in Peace Sutton.”
Simmons and Tennyson shared a 2-year-old son, Sutton Joseph, together. The couple called it quits in December 2017.
