Steve Harvey’s wife Marjorie Harvey got her wish this Christmas as she was able to take their stately home and flip it into the ultimate holiday destination for the family.
On Christmas Eve, Marjorie shared a series of photos of herself, her comedian husband and the rest of the Harveys celebrating the holiday.
“Merry Christmas,” Mrs. Harvey simply captioned the photos snapped at the couple’s Beverly Hills, Calif., home.
The couple, who have been married for 11 years, posed in festive holiday sweaters as faux snow fell around them. Their grandkids got the chance to tell Santa what they hoped to receive for Christmas, and Marjorie managed to pull off building a skating rink in the backyard for them as she wanted.
Steve had discussed how much his wife does for the holidays with Ellen DeGeneres during a stop on her show at the top of the month.
“I tried to get her to understand that we’re not Staples Center,” he said. “You can’t bring all this stuff in here. For Christmas, she wants a little ice skating rink for the kids. And she says everybody gon’ ice skate. I can’t ice skate, I gotta go to work tomorrow.”
While Steve wasn’t pictured ice skating — he insisted on the show that he can’t skate and that the grandchildren couldn’t either — the kids managed to get on the ice, according to the photos.
