Romeo Miller is making moves.
He not only has an executive producer role on his reality series “Growing Up Hip-Hop,” he’s been tapped to be the host of MTV’s new show “Ex on the Beach.”
And if that isn’t enough, the 29-year-old just revealed that he secured a role in the upcoming film “Bad Boys 3” starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Romeo also shared the letter that gave him the good news and explained why he’s been under the radar lately.
“To the ones who feel like I’m M.I.A., I’ve been grinding, sacrificing, putting in work towards my dreams,” he wrote. “Maybe i’ll show you more next post. When you get callbacks and opportunity to work alongside your idols @martinlawrence and @willsmith, you go study and go ghost … These kind of calls and emails is what makes it worth it, though … God is working.”
Romeo also posted another message to his fans that had to do with his ultimate acting wish list, and by working with Lawrence and Smith he’s already accomplished some of it.
“Bucket list,” tweeted Romeo. “To film with Emma Watson, Martin Lawrence, The Rock (again), Denzel [Washington], Sandra Bullock, Will Smith, Lena Waithe, Viola Davis to name a few.”
“Bad Boys 3” is supposed to hit theaters in January of 2020 after numerous attempts to get it made. Reportedly, Martin has been available to do the film for years, but Smith’s workload was too heavy, and he was unable to squeeze it in until now.
There’s no word yet on exactly what role Romeo will be playing.
