It’s no secret that Kenya Moore is not one of the stars of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” this season but that doesn’t mean current star Kandi Burruss didn’t push to have Moore show up for season 11.
Burruss confirmed to Entertainment Tonight in an interview published Saturday, Nov. 3 that Moore will make an appearance on the reality show she once called home.
“Well, she does pop up. She does pop up once, to my begging, of course,” Burruss admits. “I just was like, ‘You know, Kenya, people got to see you at least once.’ So I kinda twisted her arm … Everything happens for a reason. This is a time she needed to focus on her baby and being healthy. But do I feel like she should be back, or that she would be back? Yes!”
Moore showed up to the launch party of Cynthia Bailey’s signature Seagram’s Escapes peach bellini beverage, which Radar Online reported she wasn’t invited to. Speculation that Moore wasn’t mic’d was quieted when photos surfaced showing the opposite was true.
Additionally, sources told Straight from the A that Moore signed a release form as any guest on the show would. But she was not paid for the event and has not earned her peach back.
Yet Burruss believes the network isn’t against Moore returning to the series.
“I feel like the Bravo family wouldn’t mind her being back,” she said adding, “I was probably one of the most disappointed out of everybody that she wasn’t going to be with us this year, but I feel like it was great for her to be able to enjoy her pregnancy and not go back and forth with people and all of that stuff, so it’s great for her to have a healthy pregnancy.”
