Larsa and Scottie Pippen have officially called it quits.
TMZ reports that Larsa filed for divorce on Friday ( Nov. 2) in L.A. County Superior Court and asked for joint legal and physical custody of their four children, as well as spousal support.
Scottie actually filed for divorce in 2016 but then changed his mind.
Around that time, police came to the Pippen’s house twice, on two separate domestic violence calls, but no one was arrested. This time around, however, there was no major episode to speak of, it’s just the couple grew apart.
“It is with deep sadness that Scottie and I announce that we are legally separating,” said Larsa in a statement. “We have both tried very hard for a long time to make our marriage work and have ultimately come to the conclusion that it is best that we live separate lives.”
“We have so many amazing memories together, remain best of friends and love each other very much,” she added. “Our four children have always been our priority and for their sake we ask for as much privacy as possible for our family during this sensitive time.”
Larsa and the NBA Hall of Famer got married in 1997 and last year moved their family from Miami to Los Angeles.
Their eldest son Scotty Pippen Jr. is now a basketball phenom, and their 9-year-old daughter made an appearance on “Dancing With The Stars: Juniors.”
At this time, Scottie hasn’t released his own statement about the split, nor has he mentioned it on social media.
