Cardi B ripped Nicki Minaj in a series of Instagram posts, and just a few hours later they both waved white flags.
The two rappers have intensified their beef ever since Cardi’s sister Hennessy Carolina accused Nicki of leaking Cardi’s phone number.
It’s something the Young Money artist denied on her “Queen Radio” show on Monday, while she also said her friend Rah Ali gave Cardi that huge bump on her head when they fought. Nicki also said she’d offer $100,000 to anyone who had overhead footage of what occurred.
Cardi jumped on Instagram a few hours later and one of the things she denied was getting beat up by Rah.
“This my thing, Nicki Minaj,” Cardi began. “How you say I got ragged by Rah Ali when there’s so many footages of that night, every single angle and where are we getting ragged at?”
“You lie so much you can’t keep up with your f—-n’ lies,” she added. “First you say you’ve got the footage, but then you say you wanna pay somebody $100,000 if they give you the footage? Yo, make sense when you’re talking.”
Before Cardi’s message to Nicki was over, she denied her claims of stopping Offset and 21 Savage from doing a video to their collaboration track “No Flag.”
The new mom also said she didn’t like that Nicki changed her verse to their Migos assisted-song “Motorsport” at the last minute. Plus, she denied that her team paid radio DJs to play her music as Nicki claimed. Cardi then offered to settle things with Ms. Minaj in a fight.
Nicki shot back after that and called the Bronx rapper a “fraud” who doesn’t write her own music. She also told her to take a lie detector test.
Then later, out of nowhere, both said they were willing to be more positive going forward, and Nicki was the first to express that idea.
“Okay you guys, let’s focus on positive things only from here on out,” she wrote. “We’re all so blessed. I know this stuff is entertaining and funny to a lot of people, but I won’t be discussing this nonsense anymore. Thank you for the support and encouragement year after year. Love you.”
“@Nickiminaj, alright then, Cardi replied. “Let’s keep it positive and keep it pushing.”
