Migos is accused of stealing the “Walk It Like I Talk It” song from rapper Leander C. Pickett, better known as M.O.S., for their 2018 song “Walk It Talk It.”
M.O.S. claims he recorded “Walk It Like I Talk It” in 2007 for his 2008 DJ Folk mixtape. TMZ reports that it obtained documents saying M.O.S. discovered in January 2018 that the rap trio had a track on their album “Culture II” that used a “substantial portion” of his original song.
Pickett filed for a copyright on his song in March 2018. He is seeking to stop Migos from future use of his song. Pickett also wants compensation from Migos and Capital Records.
