Jim Jones has been hit with a total of five felony charges from his arrest in Georgia back in June, a report claims.
TMZ reported that Jones has been slapped with three charges of possession of controlled substance and two counts of possession of firearms. In addition to these felony charges, he is facing a sixth misdemeanor for possession of under an ounce of marijuana.
If Jones is found guilty on all the charges he could be facing decades behind bars.
Back in June, Jones was involved in a high-speed chase from the cops. The “Ballin” rapper was a passenger in the vehicle. Once the vehicles stopped the police discovered marijuana, oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges and two loaded pistols in the car. Jones, the two other passengers, and the driver claimed they were not the owners of the items found in the car, so they were all arrested.
This isn’t the 42-year-old rapper’s first scrape with the law. In 2012, Jones was arrested and charged with assaulting a state trooper during a fight in Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.
